The Endless Cycle...

The problem isn't just with the players it's also about the system. We continuously do the same thing over and over again and wonder why we are always treated the same.

We need to address the fact that the system in place wasn't designed for today's Canada. Are elected and corruptible representatives ever going to look out for Canadian's best interests?

In this technological age it has come time for the people to effectively govern the people. Online voting could see the populace make the decisions that are now made in our name. Log in and vote systems would ensure that most only those that were impacted directly by the issue would bother to take the time to vote on it.

Should we allow our borders to remain open to migrants?

Yes or No.

Should we forgive refugees' loans?

Yes or No.

Should we send money out of country or keep it in Canada?

Yes or No.

As it stands now it is hard to see how the tax system benefits the average Canadian and in the meantime some politicians will spend only months in office and receive a pension that most Canadians scarcely see themselves for his trouble. Meanwhile, to cover this expense, the tax rate must increase. Each year more politicians to pay and every year less money to pay them - yet they still get paid.

It is high time we voted for a figurehead to represent Canadians in the chairs that we must occupy on the many levels of world affairs, leaving the real decisions to be left to the people through online voting - each and every tedious little issue.

That person could go and listen intently to the other countries concerns and then bring that information back home where it could be put to the people to vote on. No more negotiations and pandering, if we say no then the representative goes there and says Canadians say no, yes then yes.

It is simple and it is coming. At least something is... people all over the world are waking up to the bondage that they are under and realizing that they are trading their lives for the mores of those who would not care for them save for money.

It doesn't matter who you vote for, Conservative or Liberal you'll be eating the same shit while being told it's good for you and Canada. The Conservatives are just Liberals with a savings account. In the end they all want the same things, none of which are what's actually best for you and yours!
