Alix RCMP responded to a 911 call at approximately 11:15 am that reported an armed robbery taking place at ATB Financial located in Alix, Alberta.
The male suspect, armed with a machete and a long rifle, was disguised by a mask and gloves.
He received and fled with an undisclosed amount of money on a skidoo that RCMP say was last observed on Alix Lake.
No one was hurt during the incident and an RCMP investigation is ongoing.
